Joe started his football as a youngster at Portsmouth from the age of 12 where he went on to earn a scholarship at Fratton Park, before successfully going on to sign a 1 year pro contract with the then Barclays Premiership club.

This was a dream come true as Joe had been a Pompey fan all his life, and was set to follow in the footsteps of his father who had also played professionally for Portsmouth.

Unfortunately Joe struggled to break into the first team and after a successful trial signed for Dundee United on a 1 year contract. On completing this, Joe returned home to sign for nearby Eastleigh FC where he still plays today.

Joe has 11 caps for Rebublic of Ireland at youth level and up to Under 19 level.
