Josh began his career as a youth player at Oxford United before making the switch to Southampton after a successful trial in the 2003/2004 season.

A right winger, Josh’s main competition for a first team place came in in Theo Walcott (now Arsenal and England) and Nathan Dyer (now Swansea City). Josh struggled to break into the first team and went out on loan to Crawley Town for one month.

Josh was released from Southampton and has since had spells at Salisbury FC, Kidderminster Harriers, Bognor Regis, Eastleigh, AFC Totten and Didcot Town.
