Miles has played around the non league circuit for teams such as Harrogate Town, Garforth Town and Harrogate Railway. This coincided with him qualifying for various football coaching badges. He has previously worked for Leeds United’s Football in the Community and the Leeds United Academy.

After then going on to spend 2 years coaching and playing in Cairns, Australia, Miles then went on to coach in many countries including Mexico, The USA, and Norway where he coached children from all ages and different cultures gaining him valuable experience.
