Our event involves a fun inflatable football goal, with an integrated speed radar at the back of the goal. When a shot is kicked into the goal,
the speed of the shot is displayed on a digital display in the back of the goal in mph.

All the children take 3 shots each and we record their fastest speed on a Gold Award certificate. The fastest boy and girl in each class are then presented with a Hot Shot Award and a medal!

Events in schools are primarily based on sponsorship, whereby we take the stress of organizing a fundraiser away from the school. We run the event in full for the school, by providing help with promoting the event, providing sponsorship forms, letters to parents/guardians explaining the nature of the event, and by providing certificates for every child in the school.

On the day of the event, every child takes part (regardless of ability or whether the children have been sponsored or not). We have a firm belief that the SpeedMark Challenge is for EVERY child!

By Summer term 2010 over 1,000,000 children across the UK and Ireland will have taken part in the event entertaining and promoting participation in sport.
